Common questions
The default and recommended setting is automatic, for where scores from Vevox sync to Brightspace instantly after an activity finishes. For instance, scores from a self-paced survey or quiz are synced as soon as a student submits, and scores from a live polling activity sync when the poll is closed. Conversely, the manual sync option requires scores to be manually synchronized from the Vevox dashboard's data page, as scores do not automatically transfer to the Brightspace gradebook.
Yes. You can duplicate Vevox sessions, polls, quizzes or surveys across to other modules in your LMS.
Yes. Students will find the Vevox activity displayed within their course interface. Upon choosing the activity, they will be directed to the Vevox app to engage in the activity. If it's a live polling or Q&A activity, they will arrive at the Vevox app's home screen, from where they can proceed to the Q&A section if it's available or wait for a live poll to start.
Yes, students can either participate anonymously or be identified in Brightspace when using Vevox, depending on the session settings configured by the instructor or host.
