Pacific Lutheran University is based in Parkland, Washington and was originally founded by a group of Norwegian Lutheran immigrants in 1890. The University, which is also known as PLU, is sponsored by the congregations of Region I of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Home to around 2,700 students, the University is based within a 156 acre woodland campus and their academic programmes are split between four colleges: The College of Humanities; the College of Health Professions; the College of Natural Sciences and the College of Professional Studies.

Vevox polling for real time responses


PLU’s football team recently held their 2023 Football End of Year Celebration, within which their were various awards given out to members of the team, across various categories.

They used Vevox during the awards session as a voting tool, which allowed participants to vote in real time for who they chose as their winner for each award.

Using Vevox polling allowed responses to remain anonymous and transparent – and through sharing present view everybody that was attending the end of year celebration was able to clearly see who the nominees are, and how many votes each person was getting, as the votes were coming in in real time to increase excitement.
