BETT 2017 – We’ve come a long way in a year!

* Please note: On 21st march 2019 our name changed from Meetoo to Vevox

Returning to BETT last week, a year on from our launch into the education sector at BETT 2016, I was extremely proud of just how far we’ve come as a team and how much we have learnt in the process.

We view BETT as a key part of our go-to-market strategy to concentrate on the UK and Europe. So, the big focus at this year’s event was to ensure we maximised the opportunity that the show provides.

We decided to take a stand which embodied the spirit of collaboration Vevox believes in and which would help promote our aim to transform learning forever. Vevox worked closely with the BETT team on the position and design of our stand and programme to promote Vevox pre-event on the BETT website, educational publications and social media. The BETT team were extremely helpful. We really enjoyed the collaboration and the end result.

BETT 2017 was the perfect platform for our Vevox team to meet, talk with and learn from its community of active users. Our focus was on building awareness of the solution among educators from all over the world.

We concentrated on the Vevox user experience; improving the understanding of how Vevox is used in educational environments and demonstrating how it actively engages students and enhances learning.

Lastly, we met with our partners such as Microsoft and Genee and discussed current projects and future plans.

Positive Results

We really reaped the rewards of exhibiting at the BETT show this year.  We met a lot of current users in the Vevox community and increased momentum in the Edtech market. Our team signed up additional 200 new users and booked personal demonstrations with various universities. We grew our brand awareness and opened few discussions with potential new partners.

But most of all, we have just been blown away by the reaction we got to Vevox both during the show and since it finished.  We always believed that Vevox would be well received by educators and students alike but have been blown away by the scale of uptake; the reaction and the feedback.

The stories we get from educators all over the world about the positive impact Vevox has had in their lectures and classrooms are thoroughly rewarding to listen to. Even more rewarding are the stories we hear from students, who have never before had the confidence to contribute in lectures, telling us that ‘Vevox has made a difference to their learning’.

Vevox is now being used by more than 1,000 educational establishments in over 60 countries, a number that is growing at a staggering pace.

We’re well on the way to achieving our mission of improving student engagement, motivation and transforming the way we learn and we are excited to see what the next 12 months bring.
